Merry Update

Well hello to all. It has been since June or July since I have posted anything. I Must be busy or something. I work full time at Midwest Trophy, I work from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. everyday. I then proceed to drive to Hobby Lobby where I work from 5:30 p.m. to around 9 or 9:30 p.m. every night. It seems like the only time I have off is on Wednesday nights for church and sunday when HL is closed. Don't get me wrong I love getting the 2 pay checks and such, but i am worn out. I hear this a lot "It sucks being a grown up doesn't it?" from my Dad. and now I really do agree with him. But this is the life of Nichole Langham. It isn't too bad I guess, I know that is could be worse!

Well next Monday is Christmas Eve. I am a terrible last minute person, I have a couple gifts for Trey and that is it. I am off from HL on Saturday so I will go and do my last minute shopping then, hopefully I won't get too stressed out, who knows how many hundreds of people will be out doing last minute shopping on Saturday. I will survive.

Life seems to be going good. I am working all the time, paying bills. Trey and I are doing good. Still haven't done much for the wedding, we know who is going to officiate the wedding, Daddy Crarig Hallman, and we know the date, September 6, 2007. I think about things for the wedding all the time but I just haven't had the time to do anything about it, which I wish I did. Starting in the end of January and beginning of February we are going to go look at dresses and such. Hopefully I can get my bridesmaids, Gabrielle, Kimberly Shults, and Rachel Beagle, to come down too and look for dresses for them. I do get very excited about that stuff though. I want to go with all my girls and mom at the same time... Mom will cry, but that is to be expected.

My best friend Rachel and her husband Jason, whom got married on April 13th, had their baby on October 17, 2007. Her name is Amber Marie Beagle. She is the cutest. I just love her to pieces. Addyson is getting so big now, she is 1 year and 5 months old. She is cute as a button and onory as could be. The LALENUH (Laura, Leah, and Nichole) is all engaged now. Laura got engaged not to long after Trey and I around May or so, and Leah was asked by her boyfriend of 2 years at the end of last month if she would marry him, so we all have some major wedding stuff to get done that is for sure!

I have so much to talk about so if I begin to bore you I am sorry. I know that I have slacked on blogging but I have not time. I think this is the first winter in like 4 years that I have not be extremely sick in. I have not had a cold yet... which is amazing. I have had some stress though and I am on anxiety medication now, Cymbalta and when I am having bad anxiety attacks I have to take xanex, I am not a fan of that stuff at all! I am doing much better with the medications though!

Dad is starting a new career at the beginning of the year. He will be a "flag car driver" or something like that. He will be following and leading the oversized load trucks to their destinations. He got an '05 Ford Explorer Sport Track truck, very nice, on Friday. We are excited for him too! Mom and I are still @ MTM. Its all good though, he deserves this though! Mom and dad bought new living room furniture and a new bedroom suite for their room and living room. I tis all so pretty, Mom got the sleigh bed she has wanted for years and years! It is pretty and she is so excited to have it!

Hopefully sometime this week I can get back on here, when I am at home, and put on the family pictures we took last night for our christmas cards we are sending out tomorrow. They looked good, even though we couldnt take them outside like we did last year. I thought they turned out good for a last night change of plans in location.

Well its back to work for Nichole. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I will hopefully be back on this week to put on pictures of the family and Trey and I. Oh and I will let ya'll see my niece Amber too, she is precious! I hope I can see her soon I love her to pieces.

Addyson Update

Addyson is getting so big, she will be a year old on the 6th. I can't believe its only been a year, I have been around her so much it feels like longer. I love her to death though!! I wish I could download from my phone onto here, but I am not smart enough to figure out how, I have some hilarious videos of her and a few pictures! She is a doll!!!

Seatbelts-- really are a lifesaver

I just found out about a guy I went to elemntary school with. Him, his girlfriend, and 4 others were driving home from a Christian Camp (as counselors) and were in a car accident and him his girlfriend and 2 others died when they were ejected from the vehicle. I am still not able to find out exactly what happened but he at age 20 and girlfriend at 19, died. The police stated that those in the backseat were not wearing their seatbelts, he was one in the backseat, the 2 in the front seats had theirs on and barely survived. It was a complete shock to me. I pray for Daniel Branson's family and friends in North Carolina.

Well it has been raining here in oklahoma for around 20 days now, we broke the record, woo hoo. Though rain is good, we are tired of it raining day in and day out! It is insane! But we know if it stops now we will need it in August and NEVER get it... so poo we probably wont get rid of it, which I am glad because when its hot here in Oklahoma its HOT!!!

It's Official

Well, as of June 24, 2007 I am 100% engaged, Trey asked Dad on the 24th. I was excited, I feel amazing now. Now all we need to do is everything. Its harder than I thought. We are planning on next Spring, hopefully. Depends on a lot of things though.

I have been sick for nearly a week and I had to go to the Doctor on Saturday evening, not fun at all. Julia and Carissa were here all weekend, they brought Gab back from her yearly 2 weeks with the Togami's in Hot Springs. Now she is at camp, she has been home, in the last month, a total of like 4 days. She will be home for nearly 2 weeks before the family, minus me, will be going to San Antonio. See I have no money and have not enough time saved up to go on vacation, so my vacation time will be spent next year for Wedding and Honeymoon.

I am so excited for my new life. I am happy!!!!!!!

Well stuff has gone on gone down and brightened up!! Well I got hired onto Midwest Trophy after 3 months of working for the temp agency that they work with for "grading on performance". It is great to have real insurance and have a real job. I do Interplant Sales, its really complicated, I do a good job and get it done!

Trey and I are almost officially engaged (as soon as he asks my dad). He is great. We have been together for 8 months nearly, yeah like any couple we have our ups and downs but it is great! He is precious. My parents like him too, which is a plus, they are pretty picky as some already know. He is close to getting some sort of license to be an airplane mechanic, gooood $$!!!!

I am trying to save up money for a house of some sort and stuff, but right now it just isn;t going so well. But I know it will take time. We are planning on May/June of next year to be married so that gives us time to work things out and see how everything goes on the whole house thing.

Barbra Jean is now 5 months old (nearly 6) and weighs about 60 lbs! SHE IS HUGE! She is a pill, definately a daddy's girl. Trey and her get along so well sometimes I am invisible when they are together, but is just so cute to watch. She is about as tall as me when on her hind legs standing on me. But I love her. She is the bestest, ha-ha!

I am finally getting to a happy point in my life, I am still a little shaky and all at times, but I have a great fiance and friends to help me through, which I Thank SO much! I love them all very much. I feel better, way better than I have felt in a long time! I feel not so depressed (though that takes time). I gained weight but I am to the point to where I know It needs to go away so I am helping myself with that without trying to hurt myself. I feel great, so far.

Hello!

How is everyone? Good I hope. Well good news: I got a new full time job at Midwest Trophy. i will be doing ORder Entry and Processing. And I got Barbara Jean! I love her to death. She is precious and amazing. Trey is attached to her worse than I am. It is so cute to see them together. I am going to load som pictures onto this one...

I have recent pictures of Addyson, a couple of the girls and mine's first "date" since the semester started some of me and Trey and some of the dog and the familly.

Expect Chole

I am sad... everyone has there own place... EXCEPT CHOLE!!! I am really hoping I get a job at Midwest Trophy so I can get my own place!

Nene and Granny are still here, the weather is better. Pretty much cleared up. There is slush in places and the water parts ice up at night, but its a whole lot better than it was about 3 days ago.

Update on Nichole

Well here goes... I withdrew from school for now anyway. College right now, just is not my thing I guess. I am working at Hobby Lobby still, but looking for a new (better) job that will provide insurance for me. I am also saving up for an apartment, and man do I wish it were an easy thing. I am also getting a dog, woo hoo!!

The dog, she is half German Shepheard and half Austrailian Sheepdog, I wont get her until a few more weeks. I havent gotten to see her yet, but I do know for sure I am getting her. Her name ha ha is a funny one, has anyone seen the show "Reba" well I am naming my dog after the wonderful Barbara Jean from that show. I love her character and I joked around about naming the dog that at one time, and it was taken seriously so that is the name that the dog is stuck with! I am pretty excited about gettting her.

Hobby Lobby, well I am still framing pictures, and still working my booty off, lol. It is an ok job, I just either need to go full time and get insurance or find another job, FAST... I have a doctors appointment in May that is very important, it is about my thyroid. My thyroid has been swollen on the right side for a few months now, and so I am having to go to a specialist about it, and as of right now I am beyond broke and would not be able to pay for my visit without having any insurance at all.

School is still in the future for me, just not right now. Right now, it is apartment... One bedroom-one bath-one person- one dog... thats me and "BJ"... its kind of hard but I know if I set my heart to it I will be able to get it done and keep it up. I am going to have to learn sometime.

It has been so icy and so cold here, schools have been out all week. And here it is trying to clear up and we are expecting 5-10 more inches of snow tomorrow and Saturday. After m2 days of nothing but ice and sleet last weekend, it is still slick and stuff here too... it is crazy. Trey will not let me drive much, he has taken me to work all week and he has had my car all week, he is scared something is going to happen to me I guess. I think I could handle it... until something happened, so it is probably a good thing he wont let me drive.

I feel so bad for not keeping up with this thing. If I am not at home, I am either working or with Trey, and since I work with Trey I see him all the time anyway! He is a good guy!! Love him mucho!

I miss all my friends at OC though, they text me and talk to me online a lot and makes me want to be with them more and more. I know when I have the time and the small amount of money I am going to go up there and see the group... I need that time with them... we girls need to do our girls date!

Well I guess that is all for now. I am off to visit with my grandma and great grandma since they are here for a while. They have been out of electricity in Neosho, so they are here with us...
